Rector of the Kozminski University – The Kozminski Univeristy, founded in 1993, is a private institution of higher education with full academic rights. The educational offer includes: management (in Polish and English), management in virtual environments (in Polish and English), finance and accounting (in Polish and English), economics – international markets, law, administration, as well as social sciences in management: business and media sociology and psychology in management. Rector of the University of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński – The University of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński has been one of the most frequently chosen public universities in Poland. At present, there are 16 000 students studying at 10 faculties. The University offers studies in Humanities as well as in Science. Students can choose from a wide scope of degree programmes. The University also participates in many scholarship programmes. Since 2000, it has been participating in the ERASMUS programme, and since 2014 in the ERASMUS +, offering opportunities for studying abroad. Rector of the SWPS University is a private university in Poland affiliated with the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology and the Institute of Psychology, Polish Academy of Sciences. SWPS University was founded in 1996 by Andrzej Eliasz, Zbigniew Pietrasiński and Janusz Reykowski, former professors of the Institute of Psychology at the Polish Academy of Sciences. Terrorism Research Centre of Collegium Civitas is an institution conducting research associated with terrorism and all of its aspects – the phenomenom itself and possible ways to counter it. They organize conferences and publish works which not only include the analysis of terrorism but also – forecasts for the development of the issue.
The Supreme Court of the Republic of Poland (Sąd Najwyższy) is the court of last resort of appeal against judgements in the lower courts. It supervises the adjudication in:
General courts – these are district, regional, and appeal courts. They adjudicate in the areas of civil, criminal, family and labour law.
Military courts – that is circuit and garrison courts. They deal with matters relating to crimes committed by soldiers in active service, civilian employees in military units, and prisoners of war.
It also passes resolutions to clarify specific legal provisions and resolve disputable questions in specific cases.
Centre for International Debate Warsaw is an organisation that was brought to life as a result of a competition held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Its main aim is to make the citizens more aware of Polish foreign policy and its priorities as well as building a stronger bond between the Ministry, NGOs and local governments.
