The Supreme Administrative Court of the Republic of Poland  is the court if last resort in administrative cases e.g. those betweens private citizens (or corporations) and administrative bodies. This court deals with appeals from lower administrative courts called Voivodship Administrative Courts. The Supreme Administrative Court is located in Warsaw. It consists of The President of Supreme Administrative Court, Vice Presidents and judges. The Supreme Administrative Court is divided into three chambers: Commercial Chamber, Financial Chamber and General Administrative Chamber. The actual president of a court is Marek Zirk Sadowski.

 

French Institute in Poland is an instrument acting upon collaboration and cultural exchange between France and Poland and has two seats, one located in Warsaw and one in Cracow. Furthermore, France has five schools of Law in Poland part of the following universities: Gdansk University, Jagellonne University, Warsaw University, Wroclaw University and Lodz University!
French Institute is subordinated to the French Embassy in Poland and it receives a bailout from French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a support of Ministry’s agenda for dissemination of French culture abroad – French Institute in Paris (Institut français). Both offices, in Warsaw and in Cracow, are headed by professional teams of French and Polish experts.

The Supreme Court of the Republic of Poland (Sąd Najwyższy) is the court of last resort of appeal against judgements in the lower courts. It supervises the adjudication in:
General courts – these are district, regional, and appeal courts. They adjudicate in the areas of civil, criminal, family and labour law.
Military courts – that is circuit and garrison courts. They deal with matters relating to crimes committed by soldiers in active service, civilian employees in military units, and prisoners of war.
It also passes resolutions to clarify specific legal provisions and resolve disputable questions in specific cases.

 

Embassy of India in Warsaw

Embassy of India in Warsaw was opened in 1957, following the establishment of diplomatic relations between Republic of India and Republic of Poland in 1954. The current Ambassador of India in Poland is Ajay Bisaria, who holds this office in Lithuania as well. Functioning of the Embassy is significantly contributing to the development of Poland-India relations, as recently India is being perceived as a main Polish trade partner in Asia. Since 2015 the building of the Embassy is located on Myśliwiecka street in Warsaw and is the only Indian representation in Poland and one of 240 Indian diplomatic and consular representations abroad.

 

CASE – Center for Social and Economic Research is an independent, non-profit research institute founded on the idea that research-based policy-making is vital for the economic welfare of societies. Established in Warsaw in 1991, CASE today is recognized as the top think tank in Central and Eastern Europe and is one of the most highly regarded think tanks internationally. CASE carries out policy-oriented research and development assistance projects, specializing in the areas of growth and trade, fiscal policy, labour/social policy/demography, and innovation/energy/climate

 

Rector of the University of Warsaw – The University of Warsaw was founded in 1816. The Kozminski Univeristy, founded in 1993, is a private institution of higher education with full academic rights. Rector of the SWPS University is a private university in Poland affiliated with the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology and the Institute of Psychology, Polish Academy of Sciences. SWPS University was founded in 1996 by Andrzej Eliasz, Zbigniew Pietrasiński and Janusz Reykowski, former professors of the Institute of Psychology at the Polish Academy of Sciences. SWPS University is one of the largest private universities in Poland. Over 16,000 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students study at five campuses of SWPS University, located in major Polish cities, including Warsaw, Wrocław, Sopot, Poznań, and Katowice).

 

Rector of the University of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński – The University of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński has been one of the most frequently chosen public universities in Poland. At present, there are 16 000 students studying at 10 faculties. The University offers studies in Humanities as well as in Science. Students can choose from a wide scope of degree programmes. The University also participates in many scholarship programmes.
