The Center for American Law Studies was established in 1998 as a joint initiative of the University of Florida Levin College of Law and the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. The program is designed for the best law students and law graduates.

The program of the Center is highly regarded and supported by the Polish legal community. During the next tventy years more than 1,600 students and lawyers graduated from Program. The quality of our program is demonstrated in the fact that we now have several lawyers practicing in each of the largest law firms in Poland. Additionally, the Warsaw offices of major U.S. firms are strongly encouraging potential job applicants to complete our Center for American Law Studies before joining their firms.

The Polish Research Centre for Law and Economy of China main objective is to develop Sino-Polish relatons in 4 fields: research, business, governmental cooperation and student’s exchange. Centre’s activities in these four areas are aimed at improving the quality of legal research in Poland (scientific excellence) and implementation of innovative solutions in legal research that contributes to the synergy between science, business and society.

Centre is a new hub for innovative academic and business activities established as a part of the Faculty of Law and Administration University of Warsaw. At the moment the Centre coordinates academic exchanges between Faculty of Law and China University of Political Science and Law, Peking University School of Law, Chinese Academy of Social Science and China Institute of Industrial Relations, conducts research on two thematic areas – law and economy of the People’s Republic of China – and forms a platform of communication between experts on China in Poland.
